Computer Ties Inc. was the brainchild of Joan Feldvary, and Iris Richardson. CTI was officially incorporated as Computer Ties Inc. in the fall of 1989. Our core business from 1989 to 1996 was the retail sales of computer accessories, and printers. The business continued steady growth as we added additional items to our inventory.

In 1996, we improved our ability to service our customers. We formed a partnership with Sojourn Systems and became their sole “authorized” sales representative for Jackson. The Internet boom changed our focus for the next several years as Internet accounts became the bulk of our business.

In 1998, we recruited long time friend, Mr. Greg Mears, who brought with him 25 years of solid business and managerial experience. Greg had recently graduated with a degree in Computer Electronics and Repair. With Greg’s new talents, and years of business expertise, we decided it was time to open a larger store front. We wanted to bring the people of Jackson something that was sadly needed; affordable computer parts and accessories, along with FAST computer repair.

In August of 1999, we moved to a new location at 1949 Lansing Ave. We began to carry a full line of computer parts, accessories, as well as manufacturing our own brand of PC's. Since then we have shown the people of Jackson that it is still possible to find an honest, reasonably priced computer store, that treats you like a person and not just a dollar Sign $$$.

Thanks to your patronage, in June of 2004, we moved to a new 2200 square foot facility on the west side of Jackson. We have grown to a staff of seven, and are capable of repairing most brands.

As we enter the 21st century, you the customer keep proving to us that 20th century values are still appreciated. You’ve asked, and we’ve given you, “service with a smile”, “delivering on what we promise”, and a sincere "Thank You" for bringing us your business.
